Garmin Handheld GPS

Hand held Garmin GPS Receivers are normally battery operated and portable. Providing the inbuilt aerial can see the sky you will be able to obtain instant position. They have the same features as larger chart plotters but hand held units between $195 and $700 do not have any charts. Charting is available for the more expensive units.
